Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery | Auto Offer Role Location: Neptune, NJ 07754 Duration: 13 Weeks Position Summary / Purpose The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a Labor & Delivery environment. This role supports physicians and interdisciplinary teams by assessing patient needs, implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring safe, evidence-based clinical practice across the continuum of maternal and newborn care. This is an Auto Offer role for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities • Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs. • Assist physicians with patient care and clinical decision-making. • Identify patient priorities through ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. • Develop, coordinate, and manage individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments. • Initiate assessments based on patient condition, physician diagnosis, and functional health frameworks. • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care in accordance with standards of practice. • Document care accurately based on patient acuity, clinical priorities, and professional standards. • Advocate for evidence-based practice and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery. • Deliver patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model. • Float within the LDRP unit as needed, providing care in labor, postpartum, antepartum, and nursery settings. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Unit Information • LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) • Assignments may include labor, postpartum, antepartum, or nursery based on unit needs. Required Skills & Experience • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related nursing specialty. • Required years of experience: 3 • Preferred years of experience: 5 Education Required: • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) Preferred: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Certifications & Licensure Required: • BLS (AHA) • New Jersey State Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License • NRP Preferred: • ACLS • Advanced AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Schedule & Location • Location: Neptune, NJ (07754) • Hours per Week: 36 • Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week • Every other weekend required • 3 out of 6 holidays required • No on-call requirement • Float requirement: As needed within unit Additional Information • Auto Offer Role: Qualified candidates may receive an offer without interview delays.
