Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery in Nacogdoches, TX

If you have experience in Antepartum, Birthing, Gynecology, or Pelvic exams, we encourage you to apply! • Shifts Available: Day shift, Night shift, Mid shift • Job Types Offered: Full time, Part time, Per diem • Employer Features: 401(K), Cross training opportunities, Health Insurance, Sign-on bonus, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Retirement Plan Qualifications: • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license • 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical equipment relevant to Labor & Delivery Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers in collaboration with obstetricians and healthcare providers • Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, intervening as necessary • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including epidurals and IV fluids • Provide emotional and educational support throughout the labor and delivery process • Document and report patient status and treatment outcomes as per organizational guidelines Benefits: • Healthcare coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision • 401K • Paid Time Off • Tuition Assistance Salary: $60,150 to $98,020 per year
