Registered Nurse LDRP unit in Kernersville, NC

What We Offer • Schedule: PRN, candidates must be able to work 7P-7A, can also pick up 7A-7P depending on unit need, but the current highest need is night shift. No set schedule or guaranteed hours. Unit puts out schedule on a 6 week time tract, self scheduling to fill in staffing gaps. Must be able to orient two shifts per week until precepted. • Department: Family Care Unit. RN's on this unit do both L&D and Mother/Baby. • Location: Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville NC • Unit Info: This unit opened in March of 2024, it's a low risk, 12 bed LDRP unit. Patients labor, deliver & recover in the same room. This team consists of RN's, Surg Techs, Lactation Consultants, and a dedicated OB Anesthesiologist as well as a 24/7 neonatal NP and respiratory. • Requirements: Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience for this PRN position. What We're Looking For • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
