Facility: GSS ND Lakota Ctr Location: Lakota, ND Address: 608 4th Ave SW, Lakota, ND 58344, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: PRN Weekly Hours: Varies Salary Range: $32 - $48 Department Details • Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of permanent address • Mileage reimbursement provided • Premium Pay Rates: • $5/hour premium on all hours worked • $1.25/hour weekend shift differential • $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Experience Requirements: • Long Term Care Experience (6 months preferred, 3 months required) Scheduling Requirements: • Minimum of 30 hours per month • One weekend shift per month Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide personalized nursing care to residents. You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to deliver and assess effective care plans. You will demonstrate nursing competencies specific to different populations, ensuring residents receive high-quality care throughout all stages of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. As an RN, you may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Your leadership will ensure that all nursing interventions align with the competencies and care needs of residents. You will work within the framework established by the Nurse Practice Act and adhere to professional standards of nursing as set forth by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred) such as CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA. • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. • Must hold a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. • Commitment to maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
