Job Summary and Qualifications
• Provide leadership facilitating the delivery of professional nursing care ensuring patient comfort and wellbeing.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care for patients and their families.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions effectively.
Qualifications Needed:
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years of hire. Exceptions apply for RNs with 10+ years of experience.
• Preferred Education: Master’s in Nursing.
• Required License/Certifications: Current RN licensure in North Carolina, with the possibility of eNLC license; must maintain BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in the relevant specialty area.
• Required Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience.
