Job Summary and Qualifications
The Maternity Center Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the guidance of the Nursing Director or Supervisor. This role requires directing nursing care for patients, adhering to established clinical nursing practices and all relevant regulations. Our RNs integrate knowledge of patient’s age, specific developmental needs, and cultural values into the care plan while contributing to quality through process improvement techniques and teamwork.
Qualifications:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of hire.
• STABLE certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing needed.
