Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Float in Gainesville, FL

Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Float Pool RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will have the unique ability to “float” between several different areas across the nursing spectrum.

What you will do in this role:
• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis.
• Provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirement:
• 1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care Med-Surg RN experience Required
• Needs to be flexible in floating to multiple units
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
• Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• AHCA Level 2 background screen and fingerprinting required.

Shifts available: 3*12-hour shifts
• Days: 7a-7p (Rotating weekends)
• Nights: 7p-7a (Rotating weekends)

Shift Differentials: Nights $4.25 and the weekend: $3
