Roles & Responsibilities • Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult med-surg and telemetry patients during night shifts • Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and outcomes • Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition • Collaborate with physicians, cath lab staff, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care • Support perioperative and postoperative orthopedic and hybrid cath lab procedures as needed • Participate in the unit call rotation and assist with staffing needs when requested • Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to policies, and follow infection prevention and vaccination requirements Qualifications • Current RN license to practice in Colorado (required) • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar settings (required) • Current BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required) • Current ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required) • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) • Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and participating in weekend rotations and call Knowledge & Skills • Med-Surg and acute care nursing best practices • Telemetry monitoring and interpretation • Post-operative orthopedic care and observation unit experience • Familiarity with cath lab procedures and peri-procedural patient support • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment Benefits • Traveler housing options close to the hospital — furnished units with utilities and Wi-Fi included (availability varies) • Move-in ready housing with on-site laundry for easy settling in • Supportive team environment that values your clinical skills and work-life balance • Licensure and certification assistance guidance to keep you compliant and confident • Opportunities to expand skills with exposure to cath lab procedures and orthopedic post-op care • Flexible contract travel perks and concierge support to help you transition smoothly • Professional development encouragement and on-the-job learning Travel Perks: Explore Glenwood Springs, CO Glenwood Springs is a mountain gem — soak in the famous hot springs, hike to Hanging Lake, explore scenic Glenwood Canyon, try whitewater rafting or kayaking on the Colorado River, ski or snowboard at nearby resorts like Sunlight Mountain, and enjoy easy day trips to Aspen or Carbondale.
