Where You Will Work
This 24-bed acute care unit specializes in medical-surgical, orthopedic, surgical, and trauma care, serving primarily surgical and orthopedic patients. Operating 24/7 year-round, the unit requires teammates to participate in holiday and weekend rotations. The average daily census is 24 patients, with an average length of stay of 3–4 days. Nurse-to-patient ratios typically run at 5:1, while nursing assistants maintain a 6:1 ratio. While prior experience in orthopedic or surgical care is a plus, it is not required. The unit values teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Known for its strong sense of camaraderie and innovation, the team functions like a family, working together to deliver high-quality care. The unit welcomes both new graduates looking to build their skill set and experienced RNs who thrive on challenges.
We’re Looking For
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do
• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
