Contract Details : Zachary, Louisiana. Registered Nurse. Med / Tele. Nights. Starting at $2160 / week. 13 weeks. 36 hrs / week. 3x12. Med / tele unit. Every other weekend required. 2 years of RECENT medsurg or telemetry experience required. BLS and ACLS required. EPIC exp required. Start asap. Must have active and unencumbered Louisiana RN license or compact licensure.We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.Responsibilities : Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patientsDiagnose and establish patient treatment plansMonitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behaviorCommunicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careEducate patients about health maintenance and disease preventionFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesMaintain accurate patient medical recordsProvide advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersQualifications : Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in nursing on an inpatient Medsurg or Telemetry unit in a hospital setting.BLS / ACLS required.Active and unencumbered Louisiana or compact nursing licenseExperience with EPIC charting systemAbility to build rapport with patientsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
