Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU, your role is crucial in coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with departmental standards and practices. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to provide tailored care, serve as a patient advocate, and maintain the organization’s commitment to excellence. • Perform procedures and monitor patient conditions as ordered by medical providers while documenting care promptly in the patient's medical record. • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, ensuring clear understanding. • Guide families on non-medicinal follow-up measures, promoting self-management through lifestyle changes. • Implement evidence-based practices and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care. • Collaborate with the care team to create and execute a comprehensive treatment plan that supports patient recovery. What You'll Need: • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. • Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
