Requirements • Current RN License. • Degree from an accredited nursing program. • BLS Certification. • At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg environment. • Additional requirements as specified by the client facility. Responsibilities As a Med-Surg Nurse (RN), you will provide care primarily to adult patients pre- and post-surgery, as well as those being treated with medications for various illnesses. With the diverse range of medical conditions managed, it is essential to be knowledgeable in numerous health issues. • Carry out assignments from physicians. • Deliver routine treatments and manage post-surgical care. • Monitor and assess changes in patients' health statuses, implementing appropriate treatments. • Administer medications accurately. • Document all medication and treatment administration diligently to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the treatment team.
