In this role as a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care, adhering to both departmental and state practice standards. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you’ll ensure each patient receives personalized and compassionate care, following established nursing principles such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assess each patient's condition during admission and on a routine basis, swiftly identifying and addressing any changes in their health status.
• Perform required procedures and administer medications as instructed by medical providers while maintaining detailed documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
• Provide exceptional patient care by responding promptly to requests and anticipating needs, enhancing the overall patient experience.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers thoroughly regarding the patient's medical condition, treatment plans, medications, and any potential side effects, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
Qualifications:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) credentials required.
• Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma required.
