Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

• Kansas City, MO

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including charge nurses, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries.
• Adhere to unit policies, including dress code with navy blue scrubs, and maintain patient safety.
• Support patient transfers and utilize equipment such as Pyxis, Hoyer lifts, and Welch Allen VS machines.
• Cover scheduled weekends and holidays as per the rotation schedule.

Required Qualifications
• Active nursing license (RN or LPN) in Missouri
• BLS certification
• Inpatient hospital nursing experience in a medical-surgical unit

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification
• Experience working in multiple med-surg units or telemetry
• Knowledge of hospital EMR systems, especially Meditech
