As a Registered Nurse specializing in Neurology on our A6 West unit, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care to patients with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, dementia, and brain tumors. Our unit features a 36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit, with access to our exclusive Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), where you will play a key role in diagnosing and treating epilepsy through advanced testing and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough assessments and identify patient needs during admissions and shifts. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while documenting care accurately. • Educate patients and families about medical conditions and care plans in an easily understandable manner. • Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate their needs. Qualifications: • Current RN license. • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire.
