As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of Med/Surg patients.
• Instructing patients and their families regarding medications and treatment plans.
• Maintaining and reviewing patient records, ensuring accuracy when posting test results and examinations.
• Administering medications in accordance with physician orders.
Qualifications needed to thrive in this role:
• Current Florida Registered Nurse license or an active compact license with FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
• Strongly preferred: previous experience in an acute care setting.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Excellent critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives; proficient PC skills.
