Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit rural healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota. / ppThis position is accountable for coordinating nursing care and maintaining standards of professional nursing. Full-time (0.9 status or 36 hours weekly) and part-time (0.6 status or 24 hours weekly) positions available. Wage range $31.50-$48.49. / ppResponsibilities include : Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up along the continuum of care. Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications. Both ACLS and PALS certifications will be obtained within one year of hire.
