Location: Avera Specialty Hospital-Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. A Brief Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and providing comprehensive support to patients and their families. Your role involves assessing patient needs, implementing effective interventions, and evaluating care outcomes. What You Will Do • Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating the nursing care plan, and collaborating with other healthcare providers. • Develop nursing care plans by documenting patient assessments, establishing care objectives, and determining appropriate interventions. • Educate patients and families about healthcare requirements, medications, and self-care skills. • Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient progress and changing conditions. • Maintain a safe and healthy patient care environment by adhering to protocols and regulations. • Document patient care services accurately in medical records. • Ensure patient care equipment is properly maintained and functional. • Keep patient care supplies organized and stocked. • Stay updated and competent in nursing practices as outlined by leadership. Essential Qualifications The ideal candidate must be able to work the specified hours and perform all essential job functions effectively. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice upon hire. Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • 1-3 years of clinical experience.
