Role and Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients during admission and throughout each shift, effectively recognizing and reporting any changes in patient condition.
• Perform necessary procedures and monitoring as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and take appropriate actions if adverse effects occur.
• Deliver outstanding patient care by promptly addressing patient requests, anticipating needs, and implementing solutions.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medication side effects, and follow-up care to ensure clarity and understanding.
Qualifications
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be secured within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing required.
