Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Location State College, PA Schedule / Job Type Full-time, Day shifts, 3 days per week Key Responsibilities • Provide professional nursing care to patients based on current nursing standards and the nursing process. • Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and serve as a liaison between patients and staff. • Maintain professional communication and demonstrate tact, sensitivity, and sound judgment in interactions. • Support hospital policies and ensure patient safety and comfort during shifts. Required Qualifications • Valid Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania. • BLS certification meets American Heart Association standards, renewed every two years. • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a medical-surgical setting. Preferred Experience / Skills • EPIC patient charting experience preferred. • Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written) and excellent teamwork abilities. • Ability to maintain a high level of emotional resilience and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
