Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, monitoring patients with complex medical conditions and utilizing telemetry technology to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Advanced training or experience in telemetry monitoring
