Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).

Under the direction of the Patient Care Manager, the Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing optimal patient care and management in the transport environment during inter-facility transport of both stable and critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients. The Transport Nurse utilizes appropriate institutional protocols and program specific procedures to deliver care during ground or air ambulance transports. In additional to providing patient care, the Transport Nurse is responsible for providing daily oversight of transport equipment and supplies as well as participating in quality and performance improvement activities.

This position will participate in Critical Care inter-facility transports into UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals (San Francisco or Oakland) by either air or ground ambulance from various regions throughout California.
