This full-time position involves working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotational weekends. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate treatment. Your responsibilities will include: • Conducting thorough assessments of patient conditions during admissions and throughout shifts, with prompt reporting of any changes. • Administering prescribed medications and procedures while documenting care in medical records. • Responding proactively to patient needs and requests to enhance their care experience. • Educating patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to ensure understanding. Qualifications for this role include: • Graduation from an accredited nursing program. • Associate's Degree required, with BSN required within 24 months of hire. • A current RN license in Texas or a compact license. • Current BLS certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. • Previous experience in an acute care hospital is preferred but not mandatory.
