This role involves leading patient care delivery using the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and other standards. You will delegate and oversee the work of both licensed and ancillary team members, being accountable for high-quality patient outcomes while respecting the diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds of our patients. Qualifications: Education: • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Work Experience: • Required: No previous experience necessary. Certifications: • Required: Current RN license in the state of practice. • Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Essential Skills: • Proficient in computer usage and software applications. • Strong verbal and written communication abilities. • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. • Effective time management and self-direction capabilities. • Good judgment in patient interactions. Key Responsibilities: • Utilize the nursing process for effective patient care. • Assess learning needs and tailor educational strategies for patients and families. • Communicate clearly, delegate tasks, and manage nursing resources efficiently. • Analyze data to facilitate improvements for optimal patient outcomes. • Promote customer satisfaction and enhance employee morale within the nursing profession. • Adapt care to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations. • Engage in other related duties as necessary.
