Job Summary and Qualifications • Lead the delivery of professional nursing care focused on the comfort and wellbeing of patients. • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and education. • Implement medically prescribed interventions. What You Will Do in This Role: • Conduct assessments of patient conditions during admission and each shift, promptly addressing any changes. • Perform ordered procedures and ensure thorough documentation of care in the patient's medical records. • Administer medications while monitoring patient responses and addressing any adverse effects. • Provide exceptional patient care by responding to requests, anticipating needs, and educating patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans. What Qualifications You Will Need: • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years of hire. Exemptions apply for RNs with 10 or more years of experience. • Preferred Education: Master's in Nursing. • Required Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in North Carolina. eNLC license may apply. • Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
