Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day/Night | 3×12.5-hour shifts
Local Pay Range: $55–$60 hourly

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care & Documentation
• Deliver safe, effective patient care using the full nursing process.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social domains.
• Communicate assessment findings to interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.

Leadership & Resource Support
• Serve as a resource for patient care, unit processes, and orientation of new staff.
• Demonstrate competency in the charge nurse role when assigned.
• Utilize computerized nursing informatics proficiently.

Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Participate in monitoring quality indicators and evaluating patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet all regulatory requirements.

Professional Development
• Assess personal learning needs and maintain records of professional development.
• Stay current with clinical practices appropriate to patient populations.
• Participate in nursing committees as applicable.

Other Duties
• Represent the hospital positively in interactions with staff, patients, and the community.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent acute care Med/Surg experience (within 2 years).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must pass pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams prior to start.

Preferred:
• BSN degree.
• Experience caring for cardiac patients.
• ACLS certification.
