The Greater Manchester Region comprises approximately 2,500 employees, including Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General Hospital, and a large multispecialty provider group. Serving around 300,000 people across 19 towns, our facilities provide vital healthcare services to the community.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will coordinate care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and effectively communicate the patient's clinical condition, responding quickly to any changes. Demonstrate your ability to provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan and promote nursing as a professional practice through collaborative support. You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or within the introductory orientation period, with maintenance of clinical competency throughout employment.
COMPETENCIES:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
