The Neuro Med Surg unit features 20 beds and a 5-bed Rehab unit, providing treatment for various neurological disorders, Neuro Psych patients, Neuro Surgical cases, and Medical Surgery patients. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Work Schedule & Holiday Rotation
This full-time night shift position operates from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Summary:
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Enhancing patient care quality by evaluating nursing practices.
• Establishing effective relationships with patients and families to develop personalized care plans.
• Utilizing nursing processes to implement and assess care plans, ensuring all patient needs are met.
• Developing care management strategies that consider multiple aspects of patient well-being.
• Utilizing leadership and collaboration skills to coordinate with the healthcare team and family.
• Educating patients and families on health promotion and comfort measures.
• Serving as a positive role model and mentor within the healthcare team.
• Applying evidence-based practices to nursing care.
• Maintaining a safe work environment.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent for licensing.
• No prior experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
• Vision acuity for various distances and color recognition.
• Constant safe and alert work practices.
Licenses/Certifications Required:
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - AHA.
• Registered Nurse - applicable state licensing board.
