Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU Location: Bronx, New York Openings: 1 Contract Type: Acute Care – Nursing Compensation • Local Candidates: $60/hour • Travel Candidates: $75/hour Shift Details • Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Hours per Week: 34.5 • Days per Week: 3 • Hours per Day: 11.5 Position Overview A large acute care healthcare facility in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU to provide high-quality critical care services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary care teams. Required Experience • Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience • Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience • Minimum 2 years of experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation • Prior experience in Med/Surg ICU, PCU/Step-Down, MICU, or CCU strongly preferred Education & Certifications Required: • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program • Active New York State RN License • NYSED Primary Source Verification • AHA BLS Certification • AHA ACLS Certification Key Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU setting • Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products per clinical protocols • Perform phlebotomy and IV insertions with adherence to safety and infection control standards • Monitor and manage patients requiring conscious sedation • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
