Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Night Shift in Chelsea, MA

Sign-On Bonus: $10k (pro-rated for part-time) available for experienced RNs with 2 years in specialty.
The West 3 - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Department at CHA Everett Hospital features a 35-bed unit catering to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, often addressing serious health issues. Our unit includes:
• 5 private rooms
• 2 respiratory isolation rooms
• 1 hemodialysis tandem room with 2 bays
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will embody CHA's Service Standards while providing exceptional care in this fast-paced inpatient unit. Your responsibilities include:
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Implementing core measures as necessary
You will report directly to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager, or off-shift manager. Ideal candidates will possess:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong assessment and documentation abilities
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a culturally diverse environment
Qualifications/Experience:
• BSN preferred
• Current MA RN Licensure
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Proficiency in telemetry and ability to interpret telemetry strips independently preferred
• Minimum of 2 years current med/surg nursing experience preferred
Newly hired experienced RNs committing to a minimum of two years at CHA may be eligible for a $10,000 retention bonus (prorated for part-time). Please consult with your HR Advisor for more details.
