Department: 5 East Tower - Med/Surg Ortho/Neuro
FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay varies based on applicant's relevant experience.
Minimum Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program, if less than 3 years' experience.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification and any relevant life support certification is required based on position level.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS certification must be through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with a valid card before the start date; the card must remain valid for at least sixty days from hire.

Acute Care Responsibilities:
• Engaging in direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units with moderate to high patient acuity.
• Utilizing AMSN’s core curriculum and various specialty certification standards in evidence-based care models.
• Receiving support and guidance through Clinical Educators for specialized education and competency training during orientation.
