Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Nursing Director or Supervisor, the Mother Baby Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care by utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN oversees nursing care, ensuring adherence to established practices and relevant regulations while considering patients' age and cultural values in their care plans. Commitment to ongoing improvement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential for achieving positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
