Registered Nurse - Mother Baby - PRN Position in Saratoga, AR

About the Role: The Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby unit plays a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to mothers and their newborns. You will utilize your clinical skills independently while contributing to a supportive team environment to meet the evolving needs of your patients. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate leadership in line with OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. • Implement the nursing process by providing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. • Administer medications and treatments following protocols while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. • Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medication, and nursing care provided. • Assess patients' learning needs; provide education and resources to patients, families, and caregivers. Position Requirements: Education & Skills: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience: • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing specialty preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: • BLS certification is required. • RN License in the state of employment or compact is necessary. • Current STABLE certification from an approved course required. • Current NRP certification is required. • ACLS certification is preferred. All newly hired nurses must complete orientation within the first 30 days and demonstrate competency in all required areas. Work Schedule: 7PM - 7AM | Per Diem As Needed
