3South is a Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center as well as a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).

While most patients have a neuro-related diagnosis 3S also serves as a telemetry overflow unit for other patient populations which allows the nurse to practice skills other than neuro.

Required:

Neurology experience
MS/Tele experience
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Basic EKG testing required and provided by the agency through Prophecy Relias. This exam must be successfully completed before the nurse can attend Orientation.
Every other weekend and holiday. 36hrs per week guaranteed Can offer longer contracts
Can and will be pulled to other units to support hospital needs.
