The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5, with a chance for 1:6-7. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. The position does not require on-call duties. The clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs. The nurse should have experience with mental health diagnoses among patients. All staff will have access to interdisciplinary support from various services. The daily patient census is expected to be around 24. Charting is conducted using a specific electronic system, which is a hard-stop requirement. Candidates must be prepared to go into the lab within 48-72 hours after accepting the position. The attendance policy is strict, considering any missed scheduled shifts as unexcused. Maximum allowable time off is 5 days during the 13-week assignment, with no requests permitted around major holidays.
