
Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - PRN in Ida, LA
Job Description
As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing both routine and complex care to our neonatal patients. With a focus on long-range goals, you will autonomously manage various clinical situations while collaborating effectively with a healthcare team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Exceeding the standards of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders.
• Delivering nursing care in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards, employing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
• Addressing the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in line with your level of expertise.
• Administering medications and treatments per established protocols, while monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
• Accurately documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assessing patient learning needs and delivering valuable education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Qualifications You Will Need:
• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred. Experience in a Perinatal setting is highly desirable.
• Required Certifications: BLS, RN License in state of employment or compact.
• Current STABLE certification and NRP certification required within specified timeframes.
Work Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
