Join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, NICU! Primary Patient Population • Neonate (Premature infants to full-term) • Level 3 NICU • Level 2 Step Down Primary Skills Utilized/learned • Ventilators/Nasal Cannula/CPAP/Vapotherm/NIMV • Central line care • Tube feeds • Weight-based medication dosing • Time management, critical thinking, delegating Personnel RN Will Work With • Nurse Interns, NPs, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management Number Of Beds On Unit • 47 beds Awards Or Recognitions The Unit Has Received • Gold Beacon Award MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire. • Current NRP certification or obtained within 6 months of hire Preferred Qualifications • BSN • Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
