Responsibilities:
As an RN in this role, you will work in a progressive/acute care environment, providing intermediate levels of care for patients in our Neuro Specialty Unit. Your duties will include:
- Caring for a diverse group of patients with higher acuity needs, including long-term trachs and drips that require monitoring.
- Participating in monthly floating opportunities to ICU with tier I assignments to maintain proficiency.

4D Neuro-Specialty Hybrid: Experience the challenge of caring for neuro surgical patients, kidney and pancreatic transplants, live donors, and acute progressive care patients. You will be equipped to handle CHF, renal failure, GI bleeds, respiratory failure, heart failure, pulmonary disease, and more.
5C Progressive Care: Provide care for patients with general progressive health issues, including CHF, renal failure, GI bleeds, respiratory failure, and heart disease.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Minimum Associate Degree
• Degree from an accredited academic nursing program is preferred
• Specialization in Nursing
• Credentials:
• Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or Compact State
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
