As a member of our Neuro-Surgical ICU team, you will care for critically ill adult patients within a 17-bed unit that specializes in neuroscience and neurosurgical conditions including stroke, head and spinal cord trauma, and brain hemorrhage. Our ideal candidates are skilled in monitoring intracranial pressures, brain tissue oxygenation, and hemodynamic parameters, while embracing a family-centered approach that is crucial for our patient population.

Shift Details: 36-hour day/night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotation.

Location: 81 Retreat Ave HH Core Bldg (10067)

Qualifications:
• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required).
• BLS and ACLS certification required; proof of Arrhythmia Certification is necessary prior to hire.
• A minimum of one year of acute care RN experience is strongly preferred. ASN/ADN nurses currently pursuing BSN or MSN will be considered in exceptional cases.
