Description Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion - Aurora, CO Department: Neurology FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days - 10 Hour Shifts Pay: $32.01 - $49.62 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is onsite, with no hybrid or remote options available. Summary: Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Neurology department, where you will provide exceptional direct patient care in a dynamic medical office setting. You'll utilize your nursing skills to enhance patient outcomes while aligning with our organization's mission and values. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and assess individualized patient care plans based on comprehensive patient evaluations. • Continuously monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively. • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support. • Conduct patient and family education tailored to diverse backgrounds and specific needs. • Delegate tasks to ancillary personnel and potentially mentor student nurses and new hires. • Employ critical thinking and decisive judgment to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred. • Current State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). • Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience. • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required.
