Job Summary and Qualifications The Neuro Med/Surg Registered Nurse plays an essential role in collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team to assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate treatments, ensuring successful outcomes for both patients and the department. Your Responsibilities in this Role: • Take ownership of care and management for assigned patients. • Effectively manage patient flow, including admissions, testing, and discharges. • Maintain and review patient records, including the interpretation of test results. • Administer medications based on physician orders. • Educate patients and families about medications and treatment plans. • Respond to incoming calls and provide necessary referrals. Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing. • Possession of an active Registered Nurse license in your state of practice, or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
