Registered Nurse - Night Shift (Full-Time or Part-Time) in Indian Hills, CO

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, responsible for overseeing and delivering exceptional resident care. This role involves planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects of care to meet the needs of our residents while adhering to State and Federal regulations. Essential Duties • Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and families regarding resident care. • Address concerns from residents, families, or physicians, taking immediate action or reporting as necessary. • Participate in Resident Care conferences and maintain accurate and relevant Resident Care Plans. • Administer and document medications as per physician orders, ensuring timely replenishment of supplies. • Accurately document patient care issues and report them promptly to the relevant personnel. • Identify and assess signs and symptoms in residents, using judgment to initiate appropriate treatments or procedures. • Supervise ancillary personnel directly, providing guidance and corrective actions when necessary. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations. Basic Qualifications & Experience • Active Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing. • Preferred advanced training in geriatrics. • Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility desired. • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. • Exceptional customer service skills are essential. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements • Moderate physical activity required, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. • Potential exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and infectious diseases. • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and moving during shifts. • Subject to regular interruptions and must interact with residents and families consistently. This position is available for full-time or part-time roles, with a competitive wage ranging from $42.00 to $50.00 per hour, in addition to a night differential.
