Registered Nurse - Night Shift in New Wilmington, PA

Overview: Department: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Shift: Full Time, 12 hr - Night Shift Location: East Liverpool, Ohio The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care through the systematic nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. We invite both experienced nurses and new graduates to apply, as we offer a thorough orientation and clinical support. Key Responsibilities: • Provide compassionate and direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations. • Effectively monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, responding promptly to any changes in patient conditions. • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders. • Communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team regarding patient status, diagnostic results, and clinical findings. • Initiate timely emergency interventions following BLS/ACLS standards as needed. • Offer thorough patient and family education alongside discharge planning. • Supervise and collaborate with LPNs and nursing support staff to ensure quality care. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical record (EMR) documentation. • Adhere strictly to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards. Qualifications: • Current and valid state RN License. • Current BLS certification upon hire and must maintain it. • ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hiring and must also be maintained. • Experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is preferred. • Experience with Ventilator Management is preferred. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
