Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center, a facility that accommodates 120 beds and has recently undergone renovations alongside welcoming a fresh management team, is on the lookout for a dedicated RN Supervisor to spearhead nursing operations. The chosen individual must be capable of organizing staff placement and overlooking the delivery of nursing care to ensure the provision of high-quality and empathetic services that resonate with the unique objectives of residents. This position offers flexibility in terms of shifts, with the possibility of either 8 or 12-hour schedules, in addition to appealing benefits like Aetna health insurance that commences from the first day of the month post recruitment, featuring a potential sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for eligible schedules.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Registered Nurse - Now Hiring:
• Coordinate, supervise, and manage unit tasks and employee schedules, manifesting clinical proficiency reflective of nursing practice standards.
• Be responsive and adept in addressing patient needs promptly and accurately.
• Document vital signs, therapies given, and patient reactions.
• Deliver medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure that team members, residents, families, and medical staff are continually updated on plans, concerns, and relevant information through effective communication strategies.
• Abide by the disciplinary policy when implementing consequences.
• Establish partnerships with interdisciplinary teams, doctors, and vendors from external sources.
• Execute nursing assessments following occurrences or alterations in the resident's well-being.
• Play a pivotal role in responding to emergencies, which may include handling fire alarms and ensuring the safety of individuals attempting to leave.
• Safeguard the accuracy of nursing documentation, staffing rosters, and census listings.
Qualifications and Experience of Registered Nurse - Now Hiring:
• Valid New York State RN license in good standing.
• Candidates with a background in caring for geriatric, short-term rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's patients are encouraged to apply.
• Incremental nursing background with a preference for supervisory roles.
• Devoted to providing empathetic and premium-quality services.
