Shift Detail: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Our facilities include Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General Hospital, and a range of visiting nurse services with approximately 2,500 employees.
POSITION SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care effectively. You'll communicate critical clinical information accurately and respond swiftly to any changes in condition or treatment. Your expertise in the principles of growth and development will enable you to provide age-appropriate care to diverse patient populations. You'll promote the nursing profession through supportive interactions and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and current licensure as an RN in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or within the introductory orientation period, with ongoing competency verification during employment.
COMPETENCIES:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer literacy.
