Facility: GSS SD Desmet Ctr Location: De Smet, SD Address: 411 Calumet Ave N, De Smet, SD 57231, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: PRN Weekly Hours: Varies Salary Range: $34.00 - $48.00 Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering individualized nursing care to residents, utilizing the nursing process that includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. Work collaboratively with residents, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care. Your expertise is crucial in providing comprehensive care throughout all phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. As an RN, you may act as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring quality care and the safe administration of services. Uphold the standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act in your practice to ensure ethical and competent nursing care. Qualifications • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). • Bachelor's Degree in nursing is a plus. • Must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. • Commit to obtaining and maintaining required competencies and certifications.
