As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Medical Oncology Practice, you will provide holistic, quality nursing care to our patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout treatment and follow-up phases.
• Scheduling patient treatments and triaging phone calls effectively.
• Managing a caseload of patients receiving various infusion therapies in an outpatient setting.
• Coordinating with referring physician offices for one-time or ongoing therapies.
• Demonstrating the ability to multi-task efficiently while providing safe, high-quality care.
• Participating in clinical support programs to optimize patient care across the healthcare continuum.
• Engaging with the HHC Cancer Institute at local, regional, and system levels.

Qualifications:
• Current Connecticut RN License.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• OCN certification preferred.
• BLS certification required at the time of hire.
• A minimum of two years of previous oncology nursing experience strongly preferred.
