Job Description
A registered nurse with oncology expertise will provide coordinated nursing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting, ensuring adherence to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing nursing staff of various levels and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to assigned oncology patients, managing complex cases with critical thinking and sound clinical judgment.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff activities to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Coordinate patient care with multiple healthcare providers in a team-based outpatient setting.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards within a hospital-based outpatient center.
• Utilize professional discretion and independent judgment to adapt care plans based on patient needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Oncology nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising nursing personnel.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
