Job Description
A rewarding opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse specializing in breast medical oncology to join a distinguished healthcare team in Watertown, WI. This role focuses on delivering compassionate, personalized care to breast cancer patients, guiding them through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship alongside an expert multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide thorough patient education and coordinate care for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer or other breast conditions.
• Collaborate closely with genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, and advanced practice providers to ensure seamless patient care.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills during in-person visits and via telephone triage to monitor patient health and respond to urgent concerns.
• Support patients and families with empathetic communication and tailored care plans.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a background in oncology nursing.
• Experience with breast cancer patient care and live answer telephone triage.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
Schedule & Location:
• Day shifts, 8-hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
