Registered Nurse - Operating Room in Crescent City, CA

Required Certifications: • CA RN License • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Job Requirements: • Every Other Weekend (EOW) required • Circulating OR nurse with on-call duties as needed Job Responsibilities: As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will perform routine assignments and develop competence by engaging in structured work assignments. You will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. You will deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in your assigned area. This involves developing, implementing, and managing an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Maintaining collaborative relationships between patients, their families/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers is crucial. You will achieve this through timely and effective communications. Compliance and Professional Development: Adherence to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations and codes is essential to promote a quality, highly reliable patient experience.
